The 2nd annual dinner and auction was held Saturday, April 17th at the historic Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee,
WI.  The Wisconsin Club is located at 900 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI.

The evening began with a cocktail reception, silent auction and unique Haitian market at 6:00 p.m.  Dinner and
program, including live auction followed at 7:30 p.m.

The dinner program featured Haitian born actress Lanise Antoine Shelley, as well as executive director,
Dr. Katie Wolf, and board vice president Dr. Greg Von Roenn.

Auctioneer for the live auction was Steve "The Homer" True.

A note from executive director Dr. Katie Wolf:

Dear Friends,

I want to thank you very much for your participation in the Hope for Haiti banquet.  I think you will agree that it
was an exciting event and we appreciate everyone who was able to attend.  Because of friends like you, the
event netted over $50,000 to support the work and strengthen the mission of Friends for Health in Haiti.

As I described at the banquet, we have established a firm foundation in our medical work in Gatineau, Haiti.
With your support, we hope to expand those efforts.  Specifically, we hope to build an outpatient clinic building
and a small staff house, followed by a maternity center, as funds become available.  By providing high quality
primary health care and maternity services, we will be able to significantly impact infant, child and maternal
mortality in this area of Haiti.

Again, thank you for your partnership with us in our efforts to improve health and change lives in Haiti.  Our
prayers are with you and all of our supporters.

Blessings,
Catherine E. Wolf, MD, MPH
